ViewSonic further expands on BIG & WIDE display market
Launches new 22” multimedia display

29 November 2007

A new de-facto size is rapidly growing across the region’s display market, and ViewSonic is poised to lead this trend with its latest VX2235wm-7 22-inch multimedia LCD display. With this launch, ViewSonic is offering consumers a journey of endless possibilities of future desktop visual experiences.

“Current trends show that an increasing number of buyers are opting for wider displays, mainly for its viewing comfort, effective features, and brilliance,” explained Aaron Fright, Regional Director, ViewSonic Middle East & Africa. “Much of this trend comes from the fact that majority of the user’s multimedia digital rich content is now available in wide format. As users recognise this fact, then we are finding that they are optimising their desktop experience by harnessing the benefits that a wide display brings. Keeping these trends in mind, we developed the VX2235wm that uses a slightly different design from our other VX models but further enhance the specifications of the panel performance. We are confident, based on discussions with our end user community, that this will be rage among gaming enthusiasts, as well as professionals. This launch falls in line with our ‘Big and Wide’ campaign that was recently rolled out across the region.”

The VX2235wm has an elegantly streamlined design with built-in, high quality multimedia speakers that create an evolutionary media center and offers the best in audio-visual experience.

The golden aspect ratio of 16:10, ultra-fast 2ms video response and 4000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio, and proprietary display technology make it popular among gaming enthusiasts. The technology prevents blurring and ghosting and guarantees an amazingly clear, true fast-paced motion performance with smooth display for watching movies or playing video games.

The full 22-inch screen with high 1680 x 1050 resolution allows for broader viewing and enables professional users to work on two applications side by side without toggling, giving them plenty of space to study wide spreadsheets at a single glance or to view two A4-sized documents alongside each other. Combined, the resolution, ratio and response time features enable digital HD broadcast-quality full motion video allowing users to be one of the first to experience high definition television.
