ViewSonic recently launched innovative DCR (dynamic contrast ratio) technology, which enhances LCD contrast ratio up to 2000:1. DCR technology is able to automatically detect the image signal and intelligently control the backlight brightness to make the black blacker in a dark scene, and make the white whiter in the bright environment.

DCR technology is able to automatically adjust gray level and enhance gray level performance range. When there is a need to display a dark image, DCR technology will underpower the backlight lamp, but will proportionately amplify the transmission through the LCD panel.
